Eden M. Kennedy

mission accomplished, pal

Eden M. Kennedy is the co-author (with Alice Bradley) of the book Let's Panic About Babies! (St. Martin's Press).

A former college-radio DJ, Mrs. Kennedy has driven cross-country six times in a 1973 Volkswagen Bug and enjoys standing on her head.

Currently she works a straight job and is just about finished writing her first novel.

Celebrity Sightings

1. On the flight from Burbank to New York, chatted with a lovely screenwriter who saw that I was going to starve on the meal-free JetBlue flight and gave me half her lunch and showed me pictures of her (honestly) adorable new granddaughter.

2. Peg Bundy at the Delta baggage carousel at JFK.

3. Tiny Molly Shannon pushing a double-wide stroller down a crowded sidewalk in Soho.

4. Brilliant genius cartoonists Carol Lay and Kim Deitch on the couch in my friend Pam's apartment, where we watched a Barbara Stanwyck movie and several bootlegged silent Krazy Kat cartoons while eating Mexican take-out.
